Lawrence Makoona

Board member

Mauritian Australian Lawrence Makoona has been a key member of Filmonik since its inception. He manages communications and the website, bringing a distinct visual flair to the screen through his visually striking short films. Lawrence discovered his passion for filmmaking during his first International Kino Kabaret in 2007 in Reunion Island. Additionally, he plays a vital role as a co-organiser of Kino Kabarets in Mauritius, his motherland.
